Used to repair/replace the Right-Side Positive Battery Cable Terminal on my 2008 F250 SD. A new battery cable from Ford is $300 plus just for the part and installation would be beyond my capabilities. Being able to replace the cables’ end terminal with this part is great. This terminal is an exact match to the OEM original. The one problem is that you have to crimp a very large cable to the terminal. To do this properly you need an Open Barrel B Crimp Tool for large cable. Not something you would normally have access to. In my case, I did some cutting and modifying to both the old and new terminal and ended up bolting the old cable to the new terminal. Worked great and saved a lot of dollars.

I luckily have tons of tools but even my tools made this install not easy. The specific crimper for this would have made it way easier. It works awesome and way cheaper than the full cable replacement on my 2016 super duty but still
It should say which crimper you need as mine was critical to not ruin my second battery

Fords wants you buy $300+ complete harness kit, instead of a replaceable battery terminal connector for dual battery systems.

I ended up using a 4/0 battery crimp to 1/4” post for the starter cable. And cut off the built-in crimp and filed down. Ford should have done something like this to begin with.
