While I don’t have the utmost confidence in the design, this unit did seem to be a perfect match for the original positive terminal on my 2014 Kia Sorento 3.3L.
The positive cable from the factory is barely long enough as it is. I’d recommend going back with this same piece which allows you to not stretch the cable. It also allows you to retain the original plastic cover, which is a nice safety aspect while working under the hood.

Part was correct, but stud for wiring was too short, had to take stud off of old part to make it work.

I tried getting a replacement at all the auto part stores near me and no one had it. I called the dealer and they gave me a phone quote of approximately $200 – $250 for parts and labor. This arrived the next day and it took about 15 minutes to install. I wish all fixes were this simple. The part fit correctly and is working well.
