so I had a standard round chromed air cleaner that kept rubbing and catching on my hood (Baldwin) when I opened it. i could have cut material away but thought I would try going for a smaller filter that would fit easily. This works great, has plenty of surface area. The one thing I dont like is the fitting they supply for the PCV hose does not seat securely in their own product. a BIG flaw in my opinion and reflected in my rating. Sure you can fool with it or tape or glue it but why should you have to?

This filter worked for me 347 stroker powered foxbody with the stock hood, it was just small enough to clearance the hood with a carburetor, recommended if you have no other options or want something simple, so far so good!

Great looking product. Too bad it was too tall for my Z28 hood.

I’ve used these for years on my dual quad setup with no problems. Cleaning them is easy and saves the cost of buying paper filters. They look great, too. Less satisfied users should probably tune their engine instead of complaining about the filter being ruined by backfires.

Only two issues are 1) the cross brace is too thin, which bends with the slightest pressure, so air cleaner base is not able to be secured and 2) PCV adapter does not secure into place, which pops out if put under the slightest pressure.
