By all appearances, it is identical to Mazda’s OEM cabin filter save for the color – the frame of the OEM one is white; this one is black. Otherwise, the design, number of pleats, and fit are identical to the factory cabin filter.

Its size fits CX-30 well. Although there were some strange noises at the beginning when the AC was running, they disappeared after several days. Now, everything is good.

Dealership tried to charge me $100+ to replace. Even sent an alarmist video depicting my dirty filter while it was in for an oil change.
Instead, watched a YouTube video and did the replacement in 3 minutes. Product seems sturdy. Looks just like the OEM product. And has air flow direction noted – seemed to be a common complaint in this product category.
Old filter was shockingly dirty at 22k miles, so need to do this more often!

Took some wiggling with the angle the slot is at inside the glove box but it eventually fit correctly into my 2021 Mazda 3. Air flows well. The air direction arrow on the filter is a plus.

My Mazda dealership wanted a considerable bit more money to change the cabin air flter than what I paid for this one. My car is only two years old and has very low mileage, so I declined when they asked during an oil change. Upon reflection later that evening, though, I watched an instructional video on changing it out and ordered the Ecogard filter. 2 days later, with new filter in hand, I popped out the old one…IT WAS FILTHY! The new one snapped into place, and the entire process took less than 10 minutes.
You won’t believe the garbage you are breathing with an old filter. This new one is a bargain. Just do it.
