Price looked good so I thought I would give these a shot since the pack of 8 was less expensive than a single coil from the local auto part store. I had a tune up around 1 year ago on my 2005 F150 with 120k miles. I had all 8 plugs changed but not the coils. The technician mentioned that coil on plug typically don’t go bad and suggested not to replace. Here I am a year later with a miss when I go to accelerate onto highways or when I go to pass a car. Needless to say I went ahead and bought these plugs since it was a low risk purchase. The coils looked good out of the box, similar to the factory coils. These installed as easy as expected with the plugs being buried inside the block. Upon completion I took my truck out to ensure it would drive correctly, everything seemed to operate as intended and I did not feel any miss during acceleration. The next day I went to go to the grocery and noticed that the truck would idle rough. At one point when I was backing out of a parking space my truck stalled. I was able to make it home with very little trouble after that. The second day after my install I had to drive to work, roughly 25 miles from my house. The drive to work was decent with only signs of a rough idle. The way home was a completely different story, it started with the engine missing sporadically while I was cruising. It then turned into missing so often I could not hold highway speeds and even the slightest hill would give my F150 trouble. You may ask how I know the issue was the coils and not the plugs or wires to the coils. Well I saved my coils that I took off two days earlier and reinstalled them. With my original coils installed my truck now idles good and I only notice a very slight miss when accelerating onto highways or passing cars. Needless to say I do not suggest these and I will be returning them for a refund. For the price it was hard to pass up the chance to try and save some $$ but as with many things you get what you pay for.

Several months ago I had my coil packs and spark plugs replaced on my 2004 F-150 Lariat. I was waiting to submit a reply because I wanted to make sure they are operating or functioning properly. I am very pleased to say that coil packs are working correctly. I would recommend them great for the price.

I have a 2007 Navigator with the standard ford 5.4. My coils started going bad shortly after I bought it used from a ford dealer. After having intermittent problems with the vehicle for about a year I’ve decided at I will be trading it in within the next few months. In the meantime I started getting some knocking when going up hills. I finally got an error code that pretty much pointed towards a coil. Since I’m going to get rid of this I didn’t want to drop $400 on coils if I didn’t have to. I figured these would be a cheap way to try and fix the problem for as long as I needed them. They seem solidly built but their only issue is that the boot doesn’t fit as well so I had to tighten them down quite a bit so they weren’t loose. I’ve got 1000 miles on them now with no issues. The car is actually running better and with noticably more power than when I bought it, which pretty much proves that the old coils were toast. I will update if I have any issue before I sell.

They worked perfect and the cost of 8, less than I can purchase 1 from parts store, that being said they have only been installed 2 weeks. These can well packaged and seem completely the same as the 70$ OEM packs. All eight for 30$ is an unparalleled deal. Replaced my coil pack for cylinder, truck runs better than I thought it ever could. Now I will wait to see how long it actually lasts, but I am very impressed with these for now. Thanks to hubby for the hard labor! Discount received.

I was a little reluctant to give these ECCPP coils a try, but the positive reviews and the rationale that these EIGHT cost about the same as ONE MotorCraft coil was too tempting to pass up. The physical match was identical to the OEM coils that I removed from my 2005 Expedition. Identical in size, shape, and heft. I’m very happy with my decision. My truck immediately ran better. Even if these fail earlier than OEM, it took me well under an hour to replace them all, so I’ll gladly do it again.

    Works perfect in 2005 Navigator.

they match the stock ones in look So i just changed the bad one and its like my Navigator is brand new. I keep 2 spares in the vehicle just in case
These cost 35 a piece for motor craft and 80 if you get them from the dealer
Great buy for the price been driving on this for almost 3 weeks now without one hiccup

My F150 has had a slight mis-fire for several years, but only at a certain point in the power band. I took it to my mechanic and he could find nothing wrong. It only missed at 45-50 mph when the rpm’s were around 1200. Recently, it got a lot worse and had gotten quite bothersome. I read online to “try” replacing the coils. Well, at nearly $40 a piece, that’s a pretty expensive experiment. I found these for $38 for a whole set delivered to my house, so I decided to give them a try. It took me about an hour to get them all replaced, including the hard to reach ones in the back. I’ve been driving it for about three weeks now with no more mis-fire. In fact, my truck hasn’t driven this well since I bought it. I would definitely buy these again.

These coils are fairly good for the price point. It’s important to be realistic with this products expectations. I got about a year and a half out of them which for me was roughly 13,000 miles. For the price you can’t beat them and they will certainly get you out of a bind you if you’re on a tight budget and DIY’r like me. Ultimately you will wanna to replace them with original motor-craft as those will last you many years and surely over 60,000 miles. Attached is a picture of where they failed. Corrosion will eventually build up and prevent them from making good contact with the coil and prevent proper ignition. You can either try cleaning them up or use some grease on them on that area prior to install to maybe get more life out of them. Im no longer on a budget and was finally able to replace all with motor-craft coils. Best of luck to yall.
