Fit exactly as it was supposed to and description was accurate. Would purchase from this seller again.

Simple easy and worked fine

I installed this in my 2000 jeep. Hated to have to wait for the fix, but as autozone wanted $300 for a pump (!!!) I decided it would be worth it.
Getting to it was a bear (jeep’s fault, not theirs) but the actual installation/part swap went seamlessly.
I’ve been over 6mos since the repair and still going strong!
Unfortunately the gas gauge seems to be reading about 1/8 of a tank low. Not a huge deal, and better than the opposite, but still mildly annoying. Maybe this could even be adjusted electronically, but it hasn’t bothered me enough to look into.

Works great with my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L. Gas gauge reads funny. Most likely from my bad reinstall of the float, however.
Aaron –
Easy install. So far so good with 5k miles on it.

The pump lasted four months after installed. Began to burn the fuel pump fuse and finally died out. Had to take down the gas tank again an found that the cables inside the pump were fried. Could have exploded!! Do not buy this item… I have pictures to show.

Seems to work and fit well. As other customer noted, it would be helpful for the cords to face the other way. But I was able to get the lock ring back on anyhow, just a little inconvenient.
Had some trouble w/ it not engaging unless I unplugged and replugged the cord back into the jeep. Found somewhat of a remedy with dielectric grease. Even then, however, the car would periodically idle low and sometimes die as well as have poor power. It is as if the fuel pump is rather weak. Going to replace it again two years later.
