I bought a fuel pump from another seller but it came with the wrong gasket. Sent it back and ordered this one and it fit like a glove. Gas gauge works for the first time in ages!

Ok, so this pump is made to fit several sizes of tanks so it has springs that must be compressed for smaller tank. Additionally make sure the arrow on top and the outlet pipe are in the same direction, lol, it will not pump gas otherwise. Plan to replace the fill and vent tube, it will make your life much easier if for some reason you must damage them to remove the tank. Some knuckle head decided the two ends of both had to be different sizes, probly so you had to spend mo monet to repair it.
Anyhow, excellent product, works as expected.

Exact fit for my 97 Grand Cherokee. Installed easily and works as it should. If you live anywhere with rust issues do yourself a favor and order new straps and bolts too. Mine broke instantly.

I’m a certified mechanic, I installed this pump and the sending unit is faulty. Pump works fine but the fuel gauge goes from the correct level then just drops to empty while driving. I checked the ground on the wires and both sides are good. Unfortunate I’ll have to drop the tank again to replace this part.

Fuel pump lasted about 4 months stopped working dropped the tank and it was in pieces fell apart inside the tank

ok so I installed this in My 97 jeep GC and 3 days after it broke the cheap flexible plastic hose connecting the pump to the pipe, also I know I have a 22 gal tank and usually from empty I could put in 20 gal, but now I can only put in 14, so the sending unit is off, probably the float is the wrong length, lastly if I do fill it up all the way it pukes gas out the top.
