I have a 2009 Ford Escape.Which I absolutely Love. I’ve been recently replacing some of my outside cosmetic parts and these were on the list.
They work wonderful and hated I waited so long to get.That rear window is heavy to hold up when using it.

The instructions say you need 2 people: one to hold up the window and one to install the struts. I left the window closed, and raised the entire hatch. It was a bit more challenging as I had to compress the strut to install it, but was still easier than trying to find an extra body or rig up a prop of some sort

If the glass on your vehicle is falling on your head, this is the ticket. These were super simple to install and were and exact fit for my sons 2008 Ford Escape. Simple snap in installation and you’re done. Easy Peasy and now my son will stay off my case for a while 🙂
