Purchased for a 2001 Chevy K2500 HD, along with the matching EBC GD7094 3GD Series Dimpled and Slotted Sport Rotors. There was no improvement over the factory brakes, and after only 15k miles the rotors are warped and so worn down from the aggressive brake pads that they can’t be turned. I will never buy from EBC again, I’m going to try Power Stop Extreme #K2073-36 instead.

My 2001 Silverado’s brakes did not stop the truck well.
These brake pads greatly increased the stopping power so I’m very happy with that aspect.
They have a break in coating to clean the rotors when initially installed.
They only reason the received 4 stars is they create a lot of brake dust
I expected this when they were new and breaking in but they continue to make the wheels dirty.
That said I would purchase again because I’m more concerned with stopping power than brake dust on my wheels.
If you like your wheels to be shiny all the time look for something else

These brakes are great! HOWEVER, they do not fit a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado LT/LS 4WD as indicated. I’m 100% positive that these will not fit your vehicle even though it clearly states that it will fit.

These make more dust but really improve braking power. Put these on front and green on rear of truck and has never stopped better, also slotted and drilled rotors.

I installed these pads on my 2001 GMC sierra 1500 4X4. I am the original owner of the truck drive it almost daily. the stocks pads are ceramic and seem to last forever but they do not stop the truck well at all. I was going to upgrade to a hydraulic brake booster to gain more braking power but I’m glad that I bought these new brake pads first.
I noticed a difference over the stock pads immediately. These are the only brake pads I will be using on that truck from now on. The truck stops so much better now. I tried some panic stops with the old brake pads and with the new. I would be scared to have to stop the truck in an emergency with the stock brake pads.
These brake pads make such a difference in the stopping power of the truck that I am wishing I had installed them years ago. I didn’t know that just the brake pads could make such a difference.
