installed on my FRS wayyyy better then stock pads and ready for the track again. stock pads smoked and glazed after a track day (completely stock car) but these already feel much better.

Very pleased.Probably an increase of brake performance of around 20%.Brake feel under pedal is very good.Will replace rear pads too.

Any EBC brake pads are great, especially the Yellowstuff..great for street, also great for competitive driving (PITL autocross/track events). Gives off some dust, but easily washed off. Quality pad.

EDIT: Had a replacement set of pads send out to me so I have bumped up my rating. Hoping the new set doesn’t experience the same problems and that this was just a rare one-off.
Had pads professionally installed by a certified automotive technician, followed recommended break in period correctly, and pads were used with OEM blank face rotors. But when used for harder braking the pads discoloured, smoked, and began to produce a strong smell.
When they cooled I had them removed and inspected. There was visible signs of overheating. As I needed to drive home on these pads they were reinstalled and worked OK. I had the pads re-inspected and they were crumbling apart. I drove on them a few more days as I was unable to get new pads and needed the vehicle for work. When the pads were checked today the crumbling had seemed to slightly even out the face of the pad, but were deteriorating at an accelerated rate.

I drive these pads for a BRZ daily car with track use 3 times per year. As I’m not a hardcore track driver this suits my needs for street and occasional track use. They hold up well in these conditions. Probably wouldn’t use if your a every weekend track driver.

So far so good, installs easily. Plenty of dust and a slight squeak (both to be expected given the compound). Initial bedding process was simple and taken care of within couple hundred miles. I bought these for an upcoming track day to save my OEM pads. I will update next month with the results. 2013 Scion FR-S
*Post Track Day update: these were cooked by the end of the weekend. They had about 700 miles of regular street driving on them by the time the track weekend arrived and they performed well the first day even with high outside temps. I took time for warm up and cool down laps for each 20-25 minute session and they continued to have good feel, but by the end of the second day they started to break down. While they didn’t seem to lose too much stopping power, they did start shedding bits by the end of the day.
**I was put in contact with EBC and they feel I must have received a bad batch of some sort. Despite not normally covering items used on track (including HDPE), they are sending me a new set of pads for my trouble. Thanks to th great and friendly service both from the seller, Speedshop and from EBC, I’ve bumped it back up to four stars. We’ll see how the new pads handle another track weekend.
