I have one of the cars that has no gas cap (thanks Ford). What were they thinking? With gas prices really high I felt the need to make it harder to steal my gas. This cap snaps right in to place easily. No annoying screwing it in. The keys fit in either way so that makes it easy too. It’s not theft proof IMO as it is made of something other than steel. Some sort of composite material. But it will at least deter the thieves hopefully.

Was skeptical on getting the locking cap for my 2018 Ford Focus, with concerns for fit and function. Was very surprised at the prefect fit to the port, and ease of locking it/unlocking it.
With gas prices so astronomical, there have been “people” siphoning tanks in my area. This gives me peace of mind that I’m not going to get in my car and see half of my gas gone. Definitely recommend!

With the increase in gasoline prices and general lawlessness these days, I decided the unlockable gas cap cover and NO gas cap on our 2018 Ford Explorer was just plain ridiculous. This solved that problem. Fits perfectly, and would be at least SOME deterrent to a gas thief or vandal. A little difficult to get the key in unlock position when it’s on a crowded key ring, but that’s on us, not this product.

It does not fit in my 2016 Ford Fiesta 1.5 TDCi. The gas cap is too big. The fuel openings may be of different sizes depending on whether it uses a diesel or patrol type of fuel.

Bought this for my 2013 F-150; that came from Ford with no gas cap. It just pops right in the top of the gas tank fill tube. I had someone stealing gas from my truck at night. This has put an end to that. Comes with 2 keys and I keep one in the console of the truck. Great product at a reasonable price!
