Parts arrived a little bruised from the trip but nothing a quick swipe of a file couldnt flatten out. Fitment was smooth and everything lined back up as it should. Although not advertised, this did come with new bolts for the exhaust housing and turbo mounting bolts.

I own a 7.3 that was built in 98 but classified as a 99. Because of this I have learned that there are a lot of small nuances that I have to watch out for, this being one of them. The pedestal for the late 99-03 models is taller and the pipes wouldn’t have lined up with the turbo. I have learned to triple check every product to make sure I am getting the right part. Often times the parts are a bit more expensive because there are only a handful of “built in 98, classified 99” trucks left on the road, and those parts that are just a bit different are getting harder to find. What I like about this product is that they didn’t just charge more because of the little difference, they charged more because the quailty is better. I know this for sure because I ordered both parts just to be sure. The one that didn’t fit cost me $40 less than this one, and the quality wasn’t as good on the cheaper one. The casting wasn’t as nice and the exterior coating looked cheaper on the one that was less expensive. Make sure you torque the pedestal bolts down to 18 pound feet. That’s important because there are gaskets underneath that you want to ensure don’t leak. Overall everything seems to be working well, and I don’t specifically see anything that could go wrong with either of the parts. Thanks for a quailty perfect fitting product!

Haven’t got this on yet . Included the gaskets for pedestal . However some other with butterfly delete like this one that will increase air flow did not include the 7 bolts that is needed. It’s a guessing game till my mechanic looks at it right now
