While E-Cloths had proved to work great in the house, I was way more skeptical about how it would clean my car and truck with no soap. Side note: I’m also a bit fanatical about having clean vehicles…
I used the hot water bucket method I used when washing the windows of the house outside. Once again, don’t ring out the washing mitt over the bucket. Depending on the size of the bucket and how dirty your car or truck is, you may have to fill the bucket more than once. If the water on the surface is still dirty, rinse, ring and wipe again.
Then dry it with the dry & shine cloth. I found on the initial pass over it left quite a bit of lint. But when the surface was dryer, it got better. Then polish up any shiny bits, including the windows and side mirros with the glass & chrome cloth.
I also would recommend using the general purpose cloth, dusting cloth, and window/polishing cloth from the house on the interior.
White cars are forgiving but our midnight blue one is not. Both the truck and the car were sparkling clean inside and out when I was done!
I am so impressed that I am buying one for my kids who live in apartments, where it’s impossible to wash your car with a bucket of soapy water and a hose.

Great way to clean a car, I didn’t have a hose so I just used a bucket of water. I did change the water out a few times since it got really dirty but much less than a normal car wash. My result was a super clean and shiny car. A second drying cloth would be great since it does suck up a ton of water it gets saturated quickly- I did my best to squeeze out extra water and hung it in the sun while I washed. Overall fantastic kit, didn’t need any soap and minimal water. Highly recommend!

I have my first ever black car and was surprised by how dirty it gets. With some research, I came upon this product. Although I have to regularly clean the outside of my car, it is fast and easy with this trio of products. I notice how shiny my car is.

I live in an apartment and have a designated space but not a driveway with a hose. So, the idea of this, appealed to me. I’ve only used it once on my 2013 RAV4 that needed a wash but wasn’t crazy dirty. I went down to my car with one bucket of warm water (neighbor’s dog drank some – before it was dirty) and the kit. I started with the big mitt thing and scrubbed the hood and front first, rewet it and then the roof followed by the sides and rear and ended with the wheels. I then used the chamois thing to dry it and polished all glass and chrome with the polishing cloth. It turned out better than when I go through an automatic car wash. I was impressed. The cloths were quite dirty at the end but not ridiculously so. I actually hand washed them with a little soap and water and they came out clean enough not to have to throw them in the laundry this time. If you hand wash with soap, you should make sure you get all of the soap out before you dry (hung dry, in my case).
So, it’s not only convenient but way cheaper than car washes or going through a lot of cleaning solvents. Not to mention way better for the environment.
The only thing I would have done differently is to just wipe the break dust from the wheels with a wet paper towel or something similar before cleaning with the e-cloths. The break dust comes off pretty easily but disproportionately soils your ecloths.

I bought this for my husband who takes awhile to adjust to new things but am happy to report he has taken to this kit in record time. We live and travel in an RV and the windshield and front need to be cleaned very frequently. How great that now all he needs is water and the job is done in no time-and I get crystal clear windows again! We store it in a small tub we use for the water and it could not be more convenient!
