Great sound, took loud crackle out of the 4in can and gave me a deep rich tone!

Sounded great for about 30 miles.. After 50 miles it became unbearable…what you see on my hitch is the glass packing that escaped the muffler.
Might work fine for a sub 300hp vehicle, but there is no way it can support the claimed 2000hp, my boosted Tahoe makes less then 700.
Worst thing is the time spent installing it, and then having to do it over again.

I replaced my factory camber muffler with a straight pipe, it was to loud.
I did modify the muffler a tad but, welded a 3 1/2 x 6 sheet metal plate inside to control exhaust flow. The sheet metal plate is 18gauge with bent tabs to force the exhaust to spin inside the core.
Dropped this muffler in behind the down pipe right after the two bolt flange next to transfer case and drive shaft. Cutting the stock pipe was difficult, it’s factory 3 1/2″ stainless prob 16 gauge. Slipped this on, could have clamped it using band clamps but I chose to run a few weld beads.
Can’t believe the difference in sound, I can have a conversation inside cab now. Don’t get me wrong the 7.3 is loud but now at least all I hear is combustion and the normal diesel crackle.
