First impression, appear to be a good item. Good steel, clean straight welds, nice appearance. Being a 3in muffler, it is very quiet, no noise during acceleration, no drone. As a general rule, the longer the muffler the more quiet. Just wanted a quieter performance muffler for my 18 Tacoma. Would have been a good purchase but when installed, at start up the muffler leaked water and water vapor at both ends specifically at the welds. I could not do a return since the thing was already installed, besides the truck was disassemble without a muffler.
I had to remove the faulty muffler and the ends re-welded. A shame since now the muffler is working fine(actually some complain this muffler is too quiet to be a performance muffler).

this is a great muffler and is well made, quiet, has a high flow rate and will not blow apart like the rolled together mufflers and its worth the money
i will buy more of these for my other trucks

I bought this to replace an identical muffler with a rust hole. My muffler was several years old. I feel it will last for as many years as the muffler it replaced.

Awesome muffler for my v10 ford motorhome. Nice rumble at idle, hardly any difference from stock sound driving….clearly more torque driving at highway speeds in top gear.

I have 2012 GMC Sierra with headers and 3.5″ exhaust from Speed Engineering. It was incredibly and annoyingly loud. I removed the straight through muffler and installed this big boy and it quieted the truck down a lot. I now enjoy driving my truck again. And, it still flowed well enough to make 410 RWHP on the dyno.

Mine showed up in fine condition. The welds aren’t the greatest, but fine. I got this to replace my Flowmaster 50 series which was loud and had a tinney sound at high flow. This one is quite a bit quieter however still had the tinney sound at high flow. I added a Dynomax resonator and it made a huge difference to my surprise. It got even quitter and got rid of the tinney sound. Dodge 5.7 Hemi.

The welds are incomplete, the ends are open on the seams, you can see the packing inside the muffler, disappointingly poor quality. Poor packaging! Don’t expect this to show up in the form it should. Couplers, Ends and center are dented.

Installed by muffler shop for $60.00 and looks like a factory installed system. Worth the cost.
Sound is just above factory. With the windows up and a/c on, can’t tell it from the factory muffler sound wise. ZERO Drone. I was after better flow, not loud sound and I am pleased. The muffler clearly flows better than the factory one.
While on the highway with the cruise set, it now holds in overdrive on most inclines, with the stock muffler, it would downshift within seconds. Mileage went up .5 mpg. Not a lot, but helps. And I feel slight increase in throttle response during normal driving.
I expect towing will be a much improved as well.
