I use 3″ and 4″ inch cutting and polishing pads with these 3″ inch backing plates in my TorqX dual-action polisher. They screw right in without issue. The included fiber washer is well attached and doesn’t fall off, like the OEM 5″ backing pad washers do. The hook and loop fastener (these backing pads are the hook part of the hook and loop partnership, as are all backing pads) are robust and well made. They are vibration free and headache free. These pads are bargain priced and work wonderfully. I’m not sure you could ask for more from a 3″ backing pad. I am more than satisfied with these.

I wanted some smaller backing discs for my DA polisher these appear well made and seem to work well for my application so I would recommend this product. Jut be mindful that there are metric and imperial thread options available mine was 5/16 so just ensure you check you thread for compatibility.

I needed this for use with the smaller buffing pads to get into narrow areas on my car and it works perfectly. I also use it when I polish my cultured marble sinks.

I pulled my buffer from vehicle to soon, you know what happened next, most of the original backing plates cost an arm and a leg, found this one on Amazon with a good price, using it now, so far works great… As long as I keep the buffer on the car when operating It.
