This is not suitable for a boat OR an RV, or anything exposed to even the slightest moisture or humidity. It is not waterproof and it is not water resistant. It is a cheaply made plastic toy.

This is a perfect accessory for my truck. I attached it to the side of the console and is great to charge phone, headset etc… I like the fact that you can turn it off.

What is nice is the voltage display. Shows battery condition if vehicle is not running, otherwise dispay is running voltage. Both auxillary sockets( not for cigarette lighter use) work for multiple chargers and adaptors. Short term 10 amp draw, average long term is 7.5 amp draw with no heat build up.
Both usb type A work well with multiple cords, to charge or power up accessories. Recommend using heavy duty two side tape instead of screws on dash of vehicle, requires 1 agc 10 type glass fuse, comes with one.
Lighted switch turns off all recepticles.
