I tried other options that I found on internet posts but the ink stayed put. I took a chance with this product, even though it is expensive, because it was the only one I could get delivered overnight. It worked amazingly well!!! I have written two or three reviews ever, and this merits one. I was careful to only dab on the ink, not reuse the swabs, dab solution off in between applications when I switched to a clean swab. The conditioner restored the finish. It took about four swabs to get the two pen strokes out. I think at most it took ten minutes. You just have to go slowly. The ink was on mid-grey leather. The pen mark had been on the leather a few days as I tried other commercial options available locally. I was sure it was set but after applying the conditioner it looks the same as before. I’m so impressed.

After applying the product to the small ink spot on my leather car seat, there was literally zero change. The spot is still the same. This product did not work at all. It didn’t even fade it a little to give me a small amount of hope. I really deserve a refund so that I can try some other product.

My ink stain on a leather auto seat is from a printer cartridge headed for recycling. It was probably too old and had been abused by other attempts at removal, so this is not to say that the product is worthless; it simply did not remove any of the ink stain when used as instructed. Nice packaging, though, and good instructions.
This particular HP ink responds to water – printed pages smear easily if wet. This product seems to be a sort of solvent.
The next step is to try a dye.

This stain on my creamy white leather chair is a mystery. Maybe from a kid’s shoe or from blue jeans or some other clothing item with nonfast dye. I wish I could have had this remover before a guest tried cleaning it and before I tried leather cleaner/conditioner and another brand of leather cleaner. I think it would have worked even better. I received the remover today and immediately applied it. I really needed a bigger applicator as the area was as spread as a, well, small person’s seat. I’m pleased with the results which are far from perfect, but it saved a $250 counter stool!
I will be watching out for guests’ pants from now on! We had a 4th of July party on July 3rd and another the next day and we’re out of town the 7th and another birthday party on the 9th, so this stain has sat for a week! (There was some stain on a second chair, but not as bad. Ugh! People, please be good guests. I’ve spent $82 on various products to get this out. Wish I’d seen this one first.

This product didn’t work. Minimal if any reduction in the ink mark and caused damage and color lifting from my leather chair. Now I have an ink spot and an area where the color is gone. I’m just hoping that it doesn’t get worse with time. So disappointed and angry that I fell for this.

This is probably a great product BUT….. I watched several video’s that is why I bought it. I have some fresh ink from my kids and the car is less than a year old so yes wanted to removed the ink. I followed the directions, which there is very little. Glad there were several youtube video’s, used exactly like said. One in mark actually just smeared wider into the leather, the others started to remove but not completely. I have done it twice and will say with each try a little more ink is removed but.. nothing like the videos. So if you buy don’t be surprised if does not do as promised.
