The hinge has a slight bias where it doesnt want to sit flat. Its not a big deal, it sits almost flat but… its kind of maddening.
On top of that because it only has a giant back ring, doesnt work so well as a handhold. Its too big for my fingers.
The double ring does work well as a stand, and you can clip your phone to a metal surface to mount it. That part works really well.
Overall I like it, but ive tried better phone holders.

This is a pretty good MagSafe iPhone ring. It is very big and bulky and it adds a lot of weight to my phone. I’ve noticed that my thumbs hurt more when I’m using it. But, it has a very strong magnet on both sides and I feel very secure with it on my phone.

I go to the gym and I’m a commercial HVAC tech. This is perfect for both applications. It works with MagSafe and it also has a magnetic base. This allows you to securely attach your phone to literally any flat, metal (ferrous) surface. I use it at the gym to attach my phone to the machines and I use it at work to attach to HVAC and electrical equipment. It feels very solid and the magnets are strong. This is a great phone holder for iPhone users. It does add a bit of weight, but this is not an issue since this is more of a stand and not really intended to always be on your phone. Overall I’d recommend this phone stand to others. Great product!
