Good quality hardware, works exactly right for intended purpose. I would like to have used the rivets instead of the machine screws and nuts, alas I did not do my homework first, and these rivets are too large of a shank diameter for the usual light-duty home DIY rivet gun. Not Dorman’s fault, so I won’t do the usual reviewer BS of giving the product fewer stars because of my own error, and I hung on to these thick rivets in case I want to use them in the future.

The rivets are too big for a regular rivet gun so I had to used the bolts/nuts that came with the kit.

Rivets were slightly undersized and did not hold regulator to door securely, regulator moved, had to remove and replace with GM Rivets,

This is a universal fit item and NOT ments for any 1 particular vehicle. The item itself is great BUT has as a mechanic when I was told to use this and got just a box of random parts and “extras” seems a bit useless and would have been better and cheaper to buy 4 bolts at the hardware store. Wouldn’t recommend this direction to anyone and just go with your gut on this

Has all the rivets and bolts plus extra. Do note that you need a large rivet tool, i was able to force my incorrect tool to do the job , but a larger rivet tool is what you will need.

I used this kit to replace a window regulator in an E350 Ford Van. Ford used seven rivets to secure the regulator in place. I utilized five rivets for replacement plus two of the screws in the kit for the piece that connects to the window assembly. I chose the latter because my rivet gun could not reach entirely in the access opening on at least one of those holes. I decided to use the bolt and nut with attached lock washer on both of these holes and tightened down with a wrench securely. Without these bolts in the kit, I would have had to go hunting for some. There are plenty of 1/4″ rivets (two length sizes) within the kit to do more than two regulators, plus the included philip head bolts and nuts. The worse part of the whole job was drilling out the original rivets! Dorman is a trusted name.
