My hard lines rotted out so while replacing those with dormans pre bent lines I replaced all the rubber lines too. Fit just like the factory ones on my 2005 chevy silverado 1500 crew cab.

This part fit and seems to be constructed well and doesn’t leak. As other reviewers mentioned one of the steel mounting points puts the rubber hose in a stretched position when you turn to steering lock in one direction. I was able to get the hose to slide through the mount without bending the metal to the proper position allowing clearance both directions. Used on a 2002 GMC sierra 2wd pickup.

I replaced my brakes all the way around a couple years ago. New calipers, hoses, rotors and pads. Was very expensive to have done on my truck (01 Silverado 4.8) I found out recently that both of my brake hoses on the front were rubbing (ac delco brand) and it went undetected until I didn’t have brakes when the hose ruptured. Thank God it wasn’t under load could’ve been seriously hurt or seriously hurt someone.
I saw these re designed ones and went with these.
My mechanic asked me I had any enemies that would cut my brake line until he got it apart and saw that the old hoses had rubbed themselves to the point of rupture.
If you are redoing your hoses make sure you go with these re designed ones for a Silverado.

According to Amazon Confirmed Fit, this hose does NOT fit my Silverado. Every other site I have checked says it is the correct hose for my truck. This hose (H381299) is for the front right (passenger side) Fit like a glove, only thing I had to do was adjust the hose in the bracket so there would be enough slack when the wheels are turned hard. Easy to do, just manually move the hub assembly left and right to check for proper slack. These hoses do come with new copper washers, but no banjo bolts, so make sure to have them available if the old ones are kaput. I would also recommend new clips to hold the brake hose to the mounting bracket where the hard line connects with the hose.
