1995 ford f150 xl. thought we wouldn’t have to take off the rear wheels, but did anyway. of course it didn’t help much. i think what fixed the lack of clearance was that the cable was still bound up in the actual parking brake mechanism under the dash. basically you gotta pull like a mother and father to get the cable to connect to the intermediate that connects to both cable on the rear wheels. good luck. search youtube and forums for excellent advice.
