Appears to be working well. The backing plate is not as rigid as OEM. Gets the job done!

Worked great, had bought some other brand and those didn’t work. I had an issue where the ABS module was activating in low speeds. I replaced these 1. Because the drivers side was all messed up shield wise and 2. I read that the speed sensors would be a reason for the ABS to come up. What my truck was doing was it felt like vibrations on my brake pad. Almost as if it was kicking back a little but in low speeds. I have a 1999 Chevy S10 LS aka base model

Original sensor was open and had a broken connection. This one showed around 800ohms and seems to work fine, no codes. Only issue was missing a rivet on the wire clamp, you can see on the picture I had to use a small bolt in it’s place but that is something most of us should be able to deal with.

This product was the solution for my faulty right front abs wheel speed sensor that kept my abs light on and would activate the abs module at low speeds, making me think my s-10 was not going to stop. Since installing the new sensor there has not been anymore problems with the abs system on my truck.

Quick easy install using common hand tools. Good time to clean/repack wheel bearing since the whole hub has to come off to get to the wheel sensor. Good value compared to prices at local auto parts stores.

UPDATE (04/12/21): Sensors have been on for only about a year, and the ABS light is back on. Ironically, all I did was replace the front brake pads and rotors, didn’t touch the sensors or wires at all. Not going to waste time troubleshooting or trying to clean the sensors like some people recommend. Dumping these and ordering actual OEM to save future headaches.
Amazon shows that this product does not fit my vehicle, but I ordered anyway based on researching the part #s. Was rebuilding the whole front end and one of the ABS wires got shredded during disassembly, so I decided to just replace both of these. Perfect fit and looks much better than the rusty original shields. Make sure you keep the mounting hardware as this does not come with new bolts.
