Mr. G –
Lesson learned, examine parts once received and before 30 day warranty expires. I finally go around to replacing this part the box looked ‘repackaged’ and as I was ready to install it, I realized the speed sensor wire was broken. (see image). For the amount of time it took to getting the older part off, I decided to remove the broken sensor and replace it with the original one off of the old hub. Well now I have an ABS sensor issue to fix since the truck doesn’t seem to recognize the hub speed. So every time I approach a stop, around 3 mph, the abs kicks in. No light, no warning. Never had the problem prior. So either the hub assemble defective because the speed sensor is not picking up the wheel spin, or it requires a specific speed sensor. Either way, very frustrated on my part not to examine the parts after shipping.
