Solid replacement for a 3rd gen 4runner. Turns nice and comes with 2 keys. It is a direct replacement and fits right in, only takes 5 minutes and your all done. Only down side is your door and ignition key will not match up anymore, but it’s to easy to carry two keys on a lanyard. Great buy in my opinion.

It works perfectly, but it arrived with a noticeable dent. The damage makes it look bad aesthetically, and that’s disappointing for a new part. I give it one star and do not recommend it. Since I’m in Costa Rica, returning the item would be more expensive than just buying a new one, so I had no choice but to keep it.

Works fine, bit stiff initially but wears in. Others had issues with making a duplicate key since the new key is thinner than the OEM. My locksmith had luck with ILCo brand key blank #TR40, not perfect but it works for a backup.

Everyday for a week the key kept getting stuck and sometimes key wouldn’t turn. Replaced it by watching YouTube video and it worked perfect for a 1998 4Runner.
