This is the second one I bought. Replaced my driver and passenger door on my Pontiac G6 and it’s way easier opening them. Good product.

Dorman says it is the correct part for my 2009 Pontiac G6. It is not. I called a Chevy dealer & they said the cable is not sold separately. The latch & cable list for $144.00. The yellow latch end of the Dorman part is made to pop into a round hole. The G6 latch has a half circle that the cable end slides into and there is a retainer similar to an electrical connector. I used a hacksaw blade and rasor knife and whittled the Dorman end so it would fit the Latch slot properly and used a small hose clamp to hold it in place. It took an additional 30-45 minutes to make the Dorman part work. I’ll be glad to donate my broken cable to Dorman if they want to pay the shipping. Then they can make the part so that it actually fits without having to have the skills to remanufacture the part.

This does not fit 2009 pontiac g6 original door latch mechanism as one buyer allready stated, the yellow connection part does not fit!

This did not fit my 2006 g6 like they said. Will not recommend anyone to buy one!!!

I bought the cable with the Lock assembly (DORMAN 931-352) for my 2008 Pontiac G6 GT Sedan. As for the installation with the lock and in my application the fit was perfect. This Cable will not replace the cable only if you plan on using the OEM GM Latch. The GM Latch uses a different connector. This cable works flawlessly with the DORMAN latch. Still newly installed and works great, but we’ll see for how long.
