My Cherokee was doing some funky things. Sometimes it felt like I hit a speedbump while doing 55 mph. Sometimes there was a clank when I’d turn it over. Finally, the last tme it happened, a code came up for the Cam Position Sensor. I bought this and swapped it out (7/32 socket). It took less than 5 minutes. Started right up. No code and no more strange clanks and such. Being that it’s a cheap part, I don’t have hope for the long term and it’s only a band-aid til I can afford a Mopar part.

Perfect If this doesn’t fix problem replace the crankshaft position sensor.

good item and easy installing

2000 jeep xj easy install, fixed my hard start and stalling problem. Ok quality, it’s easy enough to change again, why break the bank on an old truck. Now, the crank sensor, that’s a pita install, so going for better quality makes sense there.

Works exactly as expected. You cannot go wrong with this product. Good news is that you can’t install backward. It works one way and simply just replaces the old one. One weird thing to pay attention to is that when you pull the old one out the magnets might be stuck to the top of the CPS. Pull it off and throw it out.
