David Glatt –
After the oil dip stick in my 2005 Camry finally broke, this was the perfect replacement. The fact that it’s metal and not plastic like the original part is a plus.
Ericcaptures –
All metal tip better than the stock plastic one that broke. Great buy. Fits 2005 Camry perfect.
Luis Hernandez –
Product arrived on time and undamaged. I definitely recommend this metal tip dipstick, it will definitely last longer than a plastic tip.
eddie clark –
I like that this part fits my car perfectly.
Richard A –
This Dorman oil dipstick is made really nice and all solid metal, I recommend it before that brittle plastic tip breaks off.
My original plastic tip on the oil dipstick broke off inside, so now I have to remove the oil pan cover if it doesnt come out on the oil change, before it can cause some damage in the engine.
R. Romano –
much better and easier to read than the stock dip stick.
El Kabong –
I needed another oil dipstick after the factory Toyota one, lost its plastic tip within the engine somewhere.
And to replace it was more than double the cost from the dealership than this one sold on Amazon. Plus its HUGE advantage…it all metal, even the tip!! No plastic to break off.
Bubbers –
This is almost an exact replacement for the OEM stick on a 2003 Camry 2.4L but can be difficult to push it into place. I think, because the gauge at the end of the stick is wider and flat it gets hung up. WAY easier to read than the stock stick (which is brown plastic – great color choice by Toyota? wtf). And this new one is metal so no risk of the tip wearing or breaking off in the engine (like some have experienced).
