I ordered a Dorman, thinking it would be superior quality to the others, but the length of the cables are off by about half an inch too long. Yes it works after I installed it, but I was disappointed that the cable was a half an inch too long thus it’s not a snug fit. I wouldn’t buy it again.. for that money – I would buy from the dealer and get an OEM part..for a few dollars more…!

As the title states, this is not a match to the OEM hood release cable. This is only compatible with the Dorman rear cable (the half that goes from under the hood to inside the vehicle). Unfortunately, the return window has closed. I am stuck with a useless cable that is t compatible with any of my vehicles.
