Richard –
A great fix for the fuel tank in my EZGO Golfcart.
Richard D –
I ordered this because I am working on a project car with non standard tank. This would fit perfectly, unfortunately the page did not say what the resistance is. It turned out to be to high for my existing fuel gauge. During my test it was persistent with the results, very solid build quality.

Shipped fast and works great
Keep it Basic –
It wasn’t the easiest job or the worst and it wasn’t fun, but boy did I save some money. I’ve only had it in for few weeks so far but my fuel gauge is working again.
I drove for a few days with it working but the code didn’t clear even though the check engine light went out. I used my $13 ODBII reader to clear the codes and then just had to drive it until all but one of my emissions tests completed which is all that is required here in Texas for a 2001 or newer vehicle. It later passed that emissions test after it passed inspection. That test was the evap test.
I did buy a pack of Dorman fuel line clips (half black/half white) and that was good call but I did break two larger white clips that were unexpected in the evac lines. I just used some zip ties that I had on hand to secure those back together by running them through just like the clips.
Hopefully this sensor holds up. I could clearly see that the one that came with the vehicle had worn down the metal feelers that make contact to deliver the fuel level.
Job took 3.5 hours and most of that was trying to get the clips out without breaking them. Have clips on hand and break them out to save some time.

The new sending unit works great. And my wife will never run out of gas agen Due to not knowing how much she has.

A month in and it’s working great. Installation wasn’t too bad, just don’t forget the buy your fuel line clips (800-023) AND 5/8″ air line clips (800-041).
Update: 18 months later and it’s started acting all squirrelly. Looking for a replacement that will last as long as the stock one did so I don’t have to drop my tank again in another 18 months.

So far still working good.
Cliff –
Not the right one, needed one for 2007 Dodge Magnum.
Richard D –
Slid right off the pump and slid the new one on. Easiest part of the instal. Works great, no issues as of 5,000 miles.
Amazon Customer –
Good OEM replacement. Fuel Sensor is exactly the same as OEM. Gasket is different than OEM. Original gasket is smooth with rounded edges. This one has squared edges and has a groove in the middle. Still works great though.
