N.K. –
This is a perfect replacement. It’s not OE,but it is 1/4 of the price of an original BMW part. So if I get a year or two I will be more than happy.
Jose –
I just put it in and the car didn’t start put the scanner on the car and the code popped up still didn’t even get to drive the car at all just go to O ‘reillys $39 for the sensor and started right up
oneil Barnes –
Works if you just want to move your car a few times. BMW 328 it didn’t last a couple months.
Mike Meadows –
But again doorman, more hits than not, 1 month rock solid? Now getting to it, grrrr, think it thru and replace everything you can while intake is off.
Mike, Boise
Eric Olson –
Installed on a 97 M3. Fixed the code and the starting issue. Just be aware, the E36 had the sensors either in the front of the engine by the fan clutch or at the drivers side rear. This one is for the rear mount crank sensor.
