Feels slightly better quality than the one it replaced (that lasted ten years). Only thing I didn’t like was the key switch, I used the old one I had as it fitted more snugly and felt more “bolt like” in its action. Otherwise, we’ll see how long this one lasts. Switch itself seems well made and sturdy.
Simple, effective, good value. Recommended.

I needed a way to fast-disconnect my RV battery because the “parasitic load” would drain the battery completely after several weeks.
I bought this battery disconnect and installed it on the side of my battery box. My box is a little wider than the battery, and the box has a movable partition that keeps the battery “snug” while ensuring a small / open area to the side of the battery. This is where I located the disconnect switch.
So far it works perfectly for this application. I just wish the kit included a cap for the switch stem (the key is completely removed when in the “off” position — see 2nd photo).

I bought this isolator switch for my 1970 Baja Bug because I could mount it remotely and not have to lift the back seat every time I went to store the car. Works great so far and the plastic isn’t brittle or chinsy. It says it was made in England, and while junk can be made anywhere, this doesn’t feel like sweatshop garbage. Note that the key can only be removed in the off position, so it should be mounted in a spot where it won’t get kicked/thrashed/beat during operation.

Worthless quality control. It won’t turn off, even with the handle removed.

Failed after switching it on/off maybe 10 times. No continuity in the on position.

Easy install but am on my second one. First one crapped out so bought another due to the price

I use these on everything. They work good on out hot rods because the key is small enough to go in your pocket comfortably. One of my cars has had the same switch in it for over 10 years.

I got this to provide a power switch for the winch on our Jeep. Actually it provides power for the winch, winch lights and an air compressor. So far it is working great. I leave the red handle in the switch all the time and worried that it would fall out butt it has not.
