The Dorman Window Lift Regulator was slower than the original window mechanism, but worked fine at first. I purchased it in July and it started making strange noises (like rattling in the drive mechanism in September. The noise got progressively worse and failed to lift the window now in December. I could have got a lemon but after my experience I can’t recommend this Dorman product.

I had bought a cheap window regulator and when I went to install it didn’t fit right. Ordered this one and was delivered the next day, on a Sunday! Was exactly like the genuine regulator and fit perfectly. Works great!
Don’t forget to initialize the drivers window regulator for auto up & down after installing. Very simple procedure you can find on internet

It was any other window regulator, only it costed more because it was for a Lincoln Aviator. Easy to install, instructions with it were sub-par at best, but since I have experience with this, it was not an issue.

This fits exactly like the OEM part and was simple to install. However, it does not power the window down with one click like the original motor did. Not a big deal for me, but if you prefer that feature you will need a different part.

This regulator worked, but not like the original. The original had an auto down and up, with a single button press. This one does not. You must hold the button. It also only goes up at half the speed as it goes down. But it does work.

Well the motor/regulator turned out better than I had expected. Since some of the reviews said that the auto full up and full down button didn’t work for them. Mine did. The bad news is I had problems getting the window to come down to drill out the pop rivets that held the old regulator and motor in. These side windows are laminated and will break easily. Just shifting the regulator around trying to get the window down caused it to fracture. Now I was not only flustered but had to replace the glass. I called an auto glass window service who charged me $315.00 to replace the glass and finish installing the regulator. He had trouble too with the window,but heard the motor clicking and tapped it with a hammer and well it started working again. Too late to find out that the motor now worked, because I had already cut the cable in the old regulator, motor.
