It’s never easy to install things inside a door, but that’s not the part’s fault, so that aside, this was easy to install and works perfectly. It was a good value certainly compared to the OEM part price and Dorman is a reputable aftermarket parts manufacturer so I am cautiously optimistic that it will continue to work, but of course, the jury is still out on that.

The window regulator assembly in my 2001 Acura TL went out and my window fell into my door. I popped open the interior door panel and pushed my window back up, and taped it into place until I could order this part. When the part came, it was as simple as unbolting the old assembly, pulling it out, and putting in the new assembly and re-bolting it. Make sure you keep the original bolts as this part does not come with them. This part is easily double the amount of money at your local auto parts store, and even more so at the dealership. There are also plenty of tutorial videos online if you haven’t done this before. It took about 45 minutes from start to finish and saved me a couple hundred bucks, and now my window works perfectly.

Excellent quality. Installation was pretty easy. Took about an hour to remove the old one and install the new one. Works great and saves you a ton of money. Shop quoted me $350 to do the job. The hardest part was trying to reconnect the wiring harness to the door panel.
