So far, works like a gem. Third time replacing this motor. I used another brand for the first two(a little cheaper. One worked for a year, the second worked for a month. I have had good luck with Dorman in the past so spent a little more. Seems to be working just fine.

My husband installed this and it was easy. Works great. But I did a lot of research before I bought this one because there are 2 different kinds for a 2007 Jeep Liberty. If your jeep was made before June 2007 then this one won’t work. This one is the hole style and it works for Jeeps made after June 2007. The price was great because I was quoted a price three times as much from a car dealer.

This item was suppose to fit my 2005 Jeep Liberty driver’s side front window but the plastic bracket that holds the window does not match the one taken out. I went ahead and installed it because I needed something to hold the window up which it does but when rolling it down the glass sometimes gets stuck up so I have to cycle the motor back to the up position and the apply pressure to the glass so that it goes down with the regulator. I’ve attached photos of the two brackets. The new one will not lock onto the existing Window bracket so it’s not really securing the glass.

Works just like OEM easy to install only problem is the plastic guide tubes are not as flexible as the original ones, you got to be careful not to bend them or they will break as I found out the original ones will bend almost to a U without breaking I did repair the tube that broke with a plastic tube I had so be careful on installation other than that is works just like OEM. If the plastic tube didn’t break it would get 5 stares

Initially purchased an Ultra-Power branded one from rockauto and after installing it, it failed with the plastic that attached the cable to the rail snapped. A replacement was received and again it failed at the same spot. When they decided against shipping another one to me and only offered a refund with return shipping at my expense, I decided to look elsewhere as the shipping cost would was basically the same amount as the refund.
I never thought to check Amazon for auto parts but was happy I found this Dorman product. After installing it, it worked as expected. Quality of the product and even the packaging was noticeably better than the on from rockauto.

My regulator finally died this morning around 0630. I decided if I should go to work, or just call out and attempt to fix it. I decided to go to work, hope for the best while it sat in the parking lot. I quickly went on Amazon to see if there is a part that fits my 2006 Jeep Liberty, this is one of the ones that popped up. There were other options, but this one showed that they can deliver by 2200, not knowing if my window was the “hole version” or the “clip version”, I took a chance and bought this “hole version”. Fast forward to tonight, spent about 30 minutes driving cold AF. I was thoughtful enough to use one of the dash shades that I had to block some of the cold wind coming in halfway through the drive. Got home, ate dinner with my wife and then started to work on removing the old regulator. I had to go to the auto store twice, once to buy a socket wrench set, and to buy silicone lubricant because I noticed that my window was sticking to the rubber. I finished removing the part by 2045 and the part was still not delivered, so I took my dogs out and went upstairs to get on my computer. By 2100, I checked Amazon and apparently it had been delivered 2 minutes before! Went to go grab the part, installed it. Took about 5 minutes. Everything works. So I’m content. Kudos to the driver who delivered it after business hours.

Didn’t even last a year…
This product fit nicely, but don’t be fooled by the picture. What I received was the OEM part with a slightly shorter worm tube. It fit in the door perfectly and holds the window just fine. It is, however, noisier than the original and doesn’t seem to have as much power. With my Jeep turned off, it seems as though it’ll barely make it to the top. While running, it’s almost as fast as the competing passenger window if I try both at the same time. Oh well, as long as it works. I don’t want to RMA it and have to have my door apart twice. Will update this review if any issues are incurred.

Chrysler window regulators are notorious for breaking and when I took out the OEM part I can see why. There’s a lot of stress on weak components. The Dorman part seems to upgrade the OEM part. Installed on my Jeep with no issues and so far, so good.

easy to install. The only down side is the actuator rod and case pings around in my door. I feel it needs a piece duck tape or something impact resistant on the tail end. but i’m an super pleased at its easy install. The motor was lightweight. the support arc and mount is quality.
