This product worked great for my 2000 chevy silverado 1500. Everything fit like it was supposed to but when I was installing it, I noticed it did not have the third connection on the top. What it is used for I don’t know, but what I do know is that it worked without it being plugged in. Been installed for days and it still locks and unlocks great!! Great buy! NAPA sells it for 50 bucks!!!

Bought one of these and replaced the drivers(eft) side actuator on my 2000 Blazer. later when the Passenger(right) side failed I ordered another. Unfortunately, these are specific to the right or left side. Something that is not in the write up that I can find.

This was ordered for a 2000 Olds Alero, drivers front. I took apart the old one only to find the original one was different, there was an additional rod that connects to a non serviceable part on the actuator. After some research, it turns out this actuator is for a vehicle without anti theft. I could not find any place/parts store that had this actuator. I did more research & per AC delco parts website, you can remove the rod & can use this actuator. just disconnected the rod from the latch & it slides out of the actuator. I put it together & it works just fine, no issues.

My electric door lock actuator needed replacement because the solenoid made a buzzing noise when it was actuated to unlock the door. I bought this replacement and began to install it. Prior to finishing the installment, I plugged it in to test it, and found that it also makes the buzzing noise of a worn out solenoid, but does so upon locking rather than unlocking as the old one did. Upon close inspection, I can see that there are some small signs of dirt and grime on the product. It was delivered in a small cardboard box without any sort of plastic sealed bag or anything. I signed into amazon to see if I could return it, but my return window closed one day ago. The weather has been bad and so I did not have a chance to do this work sooner since I have no garage available. Very disappointed.

This is a quality stock replacement part for GM’s GMT360 platform, to include the Trailblazer, Envoy, Bravada, and Rainier. It fit exactly as needed and functions as it should. Long-term durability is unknown at this time, but I will edit this review if it fails in the short term.

I believe this part has begun to fail. It currently still functions, but every time it unlocks it makes a horrible grinding/buzzing sound. I’m not sure what possibly could have caused this, but it’s disappointing nonetheless.

Was going to replace my actuator on my 2000 Chevy Silverado. Was not the right one. Had to return this item and order a different one even though when I ordered it it said this one would fit. I didn’t realize there were different ones for the same model when I ordered it. Waiting to get the other one on in hopes it fits seeing you have to disassemble the entire door to replace it. Live and learn
