Perfect fit and replacement for the left rear window regulator on a 2008 F-150 Crew Cab. Installation is fairly easy since there are step-by-step videos on You Tube. It took about an hour to install.

Good replacement unit for the rear passenger side door. I’ve used this brand on the drivers side front door years ago. Getting the door panel and the plastic lining off took longer then installing. Instructions are just written no pictures so if you need a visual find a youtube video. Since I had done one before on the same car it was pretty easy. 10 minute process. To remove door panel there are two small screws at the bottom and one at the top behind a trim piece that pops off. Then two behind the door handle, then one under the window switch panel that you have to take off. After that lift door panel straight up and out. Window regulator has five bolts, one in each corner and one by motor. Two clamps hold glass.

easy to install and worked great.

Great value. And easy to install. I’m not sire what sheerness means as a review category. I ordered Dorman brand window regulator and motor for all 4 of the windows for my 2004 Ford F-150 supercrew. I took me almost 2 hours to take the old pieces out and install new ones. Saved a lot of money. And is working great a month later. Happy with the purchase. Definately recommend it.

Decided to buy this and install myself after hearing the dealer wanted 500 bucks installed. Paid 86.90 on 1/23/12. Received the part two days later. Downloaded some installation instructions and went to work. Took about two hours. From what I read about F-150 window regulators I’ll probably be back for more for the other windows, although the price has gone up 35 dollars in the past ten days!

Update: 2/12/12. This window regulator has been working perfectly, but the one on the driver’s door window quit yesterday, as predicted. I ordered a new one from Amazon, but noticed a modified version for the fronts that uses levers instead of cables. I’ll be installing that on Wednesday and hope it takes care of the design flaw in the O.E. cable-type lifters. I think this one may be a 2006+ type modified to fit the earlier trucks. It is a Dorman 741-848 priced at 66.12.

Fit in our truck perfectly 👍

Seems to be better made than the original. Took about 30 minutes to replace. You will spend the most time removing the door paneling and noise shield if you haven’t done that before. If you haven’t done this before, give yourself an hour or two so you can take your time.

Some people complained about the motor not fitting. The only reason I can think of is that they might have tried leaving the glass in the door. Take a couple of minutes to pop off the rubber guid along the bottom inside part of the window and remove the glass.

I used this for my rear passenger door on my 2005 F-150 4X4 King Cab Lariat.

The part was perfect for my Ford F150 and the cost was very reasonable.

As a non-mechanic taking the guts out of my truck door was a little intimidating at first, fortunately this was a much easier install than I had anticipated. The product fit perfectly and worked the first time without any calibration or fine tuning.

This video on YouTube made the whole process a piece of cake:

For about a hundred bucks I avoided over 500 in parts and labor at the dealer, and it took less than an hour.
