Jeff in CA –
Excellent product. The only adjustment needed was to bend the tab on the end, so that it was at the same angle as on the OEM regulator. I used the trick given in a Youtube video, of banging the old regulator motor several times with a ball peen hammer to jog it into temporarily running again. Then I was able to lower the window into position so the window bracket bolts would be accessible through access holes in the door frame. Then I unbolted the window, raised it up, and used several long pieces of blue 2″ masking tape to hold the window up. Then I replaced the regulator.
One important note: If you unplug the cable from the door switch, it will disable other windows in the car. It’s part of the circuit. It will appear that you blew the power windows fuse, which is buried way under the dash. But you didn’t. Just plug the door switch back into the power window cable
and everything will work again.
