Delivery was a little slower compared to most online mail order I’ve used but it was free, so…. The part was great. Seemed like the exact/compatible replacement (given the vehicle is 9 yrs old and they have changed the part a little). I watched an online Youtube video by A1Auto.com and this helped a lot in taking off the door panel and giving a good idea how to replace the part, as this was something I’d never done before. Price was comparitively about as low as I could find it seemed. I would have gone with A1Auto but they wanted to sell me a pair and I didn’t need that. The drivers side window gets used like ten times as much on this car so the 10,000 life cycles (life expectancy) were basically used up per my rough calcs. I know for sure there were many years in a row of 3X+ per day use, of the window going up and down. (parking garage in/out, mailbox, etc.) Old unit was still working but got too weak to go all the way up. Probably the motor? Save over $100 by DIY, easily in about an hour. Easy job on GM product (Chevy). Under $80 total. Simple 10mm socket with extention is all you need and a small pointy screw driver. Door panel is easier to get off than older “manual roll up” versions I’ve worked on.

I got the regulator quickly. It took maybe 1/2 hour to install. It fit perfectly and my window is now working as it should. I might have to get the passenger side next, but since I already what it will take to install, I’m sure I can cut the installation time by half.

Got this for my 2004 GMC Envoy and had it installed. Had it on a week now with no issues what so ever.

I liked that this product was somewhat easy to install. Instructions are helpful but watching a Video on how to change out this window regulator is very helpful . Dorman makes a quality Product !

Last time I only replaced the motor and it was always slow to go up. When it failed I ordered this part. Very easy install, start to finish about two hours. Perfect fit.

Great replacement and price. I checked around the local parts stores and they wanted $95 and I got this part for $67 and installed it myself. Very easy job took about 30 min to do and works great. Before I was always worried if the window was going to go back up. It came down slow and went back up even slower and a few days ago it went up half way and stopped after a few minutes I got it to go up the rest of the way and didn’t use it again. This was installed on a 2004 Trailblazer with 91K miles on it so I guess the window motor was getting tired. I do recommend Dorman products they always are a great replacement for factory parts that have failed.
