Love the supplied tech notes which helped with installation. The only negative is the auto up doesn’t work. Not sure if I got a bad one but I’m not taking it out over that. That’s the only reason for 4 stars.

This was the correct part for my wife’s 2004 Honda Accord LX driver’s window. She had been having issues where the window would not always want to roll down, which steadily got worse until the window wouldn’t roll down ever. The motor was definitely shot, as evidenced by the scorching hot temp it reached when I was troubleshooting it.
Installation was mostly simple, definitely a DIY job if you’re used to swinging a wrench. All that is needed is a 10mm wrench (I used both a socket and a ratcheting wrench), a few flat screwdrivers to help pry off the door panel pieces, and a Philips screwdriver for a couple of the door screws. The only complication to this job was having to un-bolt the window from the regulator while the window was in the ‘full up’ position. Honda makes a few openings in the door designed to allow easy access to these bolts, but the window must be part way down to get at them. So instead, I had to do some fishing around with the ratcheting wrench. Other than that, easy job.
The window now moves every time, and does it a lot more quickly and quietly than the old motor did (when you could get it to move, that is)

Update: 3 months later and it works like a champ. It fit my ’04 Accord perfectly! Build quality is excellent and you save a big chunk of cash on part alone, not to mention labor. Other reviewers said what I wanted to say. So I spare you more of the same. Just a few pointers:
1. Visit the DormanProducts website [..] and make sure the part number fits your exact car model and door (i.e. front vs rear, driver vs passenger, 4 door vs coupe.) *VERY* important.
2. You can install this yourself. Just download step by step install instructions from Dorman website. It helped me tremendously and gave me confidence to do it right. I knew exactly where the grommets were when I was pulling out the door panel, so i could make sure not to break the panel.
3. When working on gaining access to the window regulator, *DON’T* rip out the weather seal membrane inside door! Instead, get a *SHARP* carpet knife and cut the pasty glue *between* the seal membrane and the door *in half* as you go. This will help to re-use the glue that’s left over, to re-attach the seal membrane back to the inside of door. My window regulator had originally failed because part of this seal had been left open and over time, dust and mud got under the seal and into the motor, ruining the internal gears. That’s how my window failed. I used some silicone glue to re-seal that section.
Cheers and good luck!!

The original regulator and motor assembly stopped working. The local Honda dealer wanted $650 for the part with a 2 day delivery date. This Dorman part was delivered the next day at a fraction of what the dealer was charging. The part installed perfectly and is working fine. One note: the Dorman part does not include mounting hardware (bolts, screws). You’ll need to re-use the original mounting hardware.

Failed after 2 years. Kinda seen it coming as it would keep trying to roll the window up even after it was all the way up. You heard a clicking sound every once in a while after you rolled it up. The OEM gave me 18 years vs just 2 years on this one. If you need a quick fix before selling the car this one works bit beware if the car stays in your possession longer than a year or two.

Great part!
Works smoothly, noise level is about average and was way to replace. Everything lined up and bolted in perfectly! Would definitely recommend! 👍🏼

La pieza se ve y funciona perfectamente, acoplo exacto al ensamble de mi Accord 2007 4P. Instalarlo no fue difícil después de ver algunos videos en YouTube

The part arrived quickly and fit was good. So far my window works beautifully again. This product seems to have taken care of the problem of a broken cable.
