Purchased for my 03 Matrix Xrs and am very satisfied.
Operates slightly faster and quieter than the stock regulator and motor AND the one touch to roll the window down works fine.
Perfect fit and hole alignment was right on. The only difference was the stock motor had the plug built right into the motor and this has roughly an 8 inch lead coming from the motor but the plugs were a match. There is a cutout in the door for the stock plug that this doesn’t have but it works perfectly fine.
Easy 1 hour fix with very little experience. Just takes a little common sense, a small putty knife and Phillip screwdriver to remove door panel, 10mm socket with extension and some masking tape. Watched a couple YouTube videos and saved about $1200 from dealer prices. My suggestion after you remove the door panel and plate covering the regulator is to take a picture of the stock regulator (what you can see of it) to help you get the new one orientated properly. I was glad I did.

Great product. Fits and works perfecrly on my 2006 toyota matrix. Old motor and regulator made a bad screeching noise when going up and down on cold days foe the last couple years. Window got stuck (not broken) in the window sill when rolled all the way up so decided to replace. Replaced with this one and now is silent and faster than my other windows. Took maybe about an hour to replace. If u have a broken or bad window regulator/motor, buy this and you wont be disappointed. First pic is old and second pic is new one. I will update this in a year or so on performance.

This does NOT fit a 2002-2006 Toyota Camry!
The bar (shown at the top of the picture) where the window physically attaches to the assembly was about 2-inches too short, SO I removed the bar from the original assembly and put it on the new assembly. The window did NOT go all the way down.
Wound up using the motor from the new assembly with the old mechanism and all worked as it was supposed to work.
If I had not been time restrained, I would have returned the unit.

I have never changed out anything like this before so I was concerned about how it would fit and function. I watched a YouTube demonstration (twice) and then slowly proceeded. In an hour I had a window that worked!
It was a perfect fit and works like this 15 year old car just came off the lot. The power cord receptacle was a little different from the old one, but it turned out to be no problem. What a huge difference in price from an OEM part!

Great part, replaced my 2004 Matrix driver side window relay with this in fewer than 3 hours, although after completing the repair I say it could be done in 40 minutes. No prior mechanic experience needed for installing this, just determination and basic brain function, I suggest having common car/home tools on hand and ready before you start. Also, with the new relay installed my driver’s side power window is much faster than any of the other 3 in my car, really works.

All the window regulators are aftermarket. This one is good. The regulator went into a Pontiac vibe which is a Toyota matrix. Was very straightforward. Easy to install. Only concern, is the wires for the power that stick through the door, Do not have the same water grommet.
Tip on how to test and see if the old ones bad, takeoff the interior panel, with trim tools, find the wires that go into the door about middle of the door, pull off wire connector and the motor can be tested.
