This part was defective. I had to pay a mechanic $150 to install it. After installation we realize that it was defective and does not work. I have to pay him another $150 an hour to deinstall it, not to mention pay for another part and have my car at the mechanics. I am $300 out because this part was defective. Don’t buy parts on Amazon, you can’t trust them or the sellers. I wish I would’ve just had my mechanic order this part in the beginning because then he would’ve been accountable for it. But Amazon will not reimburse me for anything and does not hold any accountability for themselves.

This is the second Dorman I’ve installed. This unit is NOT identical to the OEM as it has an umbilical cord with power socket while the OEM has the socket on the motor frame. Still it works. Used the old grommet in the hole where the cord has to pass through. Hint on installation: there is a keyhole for one bolt. Pre-install that bolt with a turn or two before putting the regulator in the door panel. Hang the regulator on that bolt and the rest is easy-peasy.
EDIT: within 24-hours the window came off the track.

It was great until it wasn’t the motor on this product went out exactly one year from the date of purchase. It’s hardly used installed on an elderly women’s car who drives at most twice a week and rarely uses the back window. Poor quality item.
