It came to me nice and neet like it should have. All the fittings on it were right,it connected up just fine and was the right length.

  2. TheReviewerGuy

Fit for 2001 Buick Regal LS GM 3800 SII NA Engine.

Common failure on these now “older” cars and engine is a failing ignition control module harness at the front of the ignition control module / coil packs.

If you try the “wiggle test” and notice issues on your engine this may, or may not, solve it.

For me it was the cure.

Yes, you could go buy this from a junkyard however, it would be a pain one to pull this from a junkyard as the wires are nestled in some tight corners.

Also, in the process of pulling the harness you may just break the part you need or some other wires… so weigh those options when considering if you want to pull a suspect part from the junkyard.

I weighed the options and decided I wanted a known good harness.

  3. Great product at a great price

I liked the fact that this harness solved my no start problem and now I don’t have to worry about my vehicle being dependable or not.

  4. wootaholic

Did not fit 2000 Firebird 3.8, despite checking direct with Dorman. Several of the connectors were not compatible and length was off as well.

  5. Mike

The harness was worth the money instead of repairing the old one. The lead for the crank position sensor was shorter than the original.

  6. T1T2T3

Very easy install. The crank wire didn’t go on well, had to sort of FORCE it on. Other then that, fine.

  7. Keith Ditzler

Used on a 1995 Buick Lesabre. All the connectors were perfect and it had enough length of wire to all where it connects to. It didn’t match the factory original so I had to undress the harness and redress it to get the lengths required. On the 95 Lesabre, the crank sensor connector and ground lug needed to be broken out closer to the Ignition Control Module connector. Other than the redressing the harness fixed my stalling issue. The original harness was in such bad condition the flex tubing was nonexistent and the insulation was gone on four wires at the same spot causing it to short. Thanks Amazon, a great price and it fixed a problem I had for a long time!

    And saved me a bundle!
Original problem: eating ICM’s. Looked at the ICM connector and had a pin that wouldn’t lock, I could pull the wire in and out easily.

I had to disconnect the radiator hose at the water pump to snake the wiring through, which I didn’t expect, your results may differ.
