What a pain in the rear to install. You must lower the oil pan to install this thing or it will leak oil. It is meant to be installed before you put on the oil pan.

Just be sure to add gasket sealer at the bottom and lower sides. Popped right on

Seems okay as a replacement. I had to trim the bottom lip completely to allow it to fit without dropping the oil pan. Had to replace the cover on my boat due to a leak and didn’t want to pull the engine. No leaks on the first time out. Time will tell. One issue I had was that after install I could slip a feeler gauge through the seal on one side very easily. I removed the cover and added some permatex and replaced. No issues so far.

One star is too high. Thumbs down/finger up.
-It didn’t fit. Period, hard stop.
The bolt holes BARELY lined up enough to get them in, and only the rubber grommets allowed that much flexibility.
The lower sealing face didn’t fit, by almost half
an inch total… quarter inch on each side. I had to trim it that much and it barely fit at that.
To make sure it sealed, I had to use black RTV… and I hate the stuff.
I’ll never buy from this brand again.
