Original GM FSCM threw a code and was blowing fuses. I jumpers across the connector and the fuel pump worked. Ordered one of these and like many other people experienced it still didn’t work. Called the Dorman tech support number that came in the box and they were pretty helpless. Basically all they did was check that the part number I ordered was correct for my vehicle and tell me that I should return the faulty unit to whoever I bought it from. I made the exchange with Amazon for a replacement and the second one worked just fine.

I’m shere this part worked for my 2010 gmc canyon it just did not fix the problem I had with the truck do to it not being the problem

Our Tahoe ran better and got better fuel mileage by a gallon or too as our old computer was failing. I think it helped the performance. The quality was great and the bolt holes lined up perfect. It was really easy to install and fit with no modifications. Great value for your money.

I contacted Dorman a week ago and still haven’t received any response. I installed this and the like I said it would start at 55psi then the fuel pressure drops and the truck dies.

2010 Silverado which this is intended for. Had an engine code calling out the controller.
No start/idle with the 1st unit. Return/replace thru Amazon and same.
Contacted Dorman and got s unit directly from them, still failed. Reinstalled the OEM and ran fine.
Root cause was a pump issue, but the Dorman controller is useless.

Wish this worked but it’s a total waste of time. Upon install I got a immediate code of fuel circuit open.i called dorman and said they would overnight me another– 6 days later I get replacement– it did the same thing.i normally have good luck with Dorman but I strongly encourage you don’t waste ur time with this.and for what it’s worth I’m probably a strong 7 in mechanical diagnostic.
