It’s a tight fit for sure, couldn’t find an install tool with an M10x1.50 bolt. Recommend you get a much longer bolt, nut and washer to install. Look at smaller hardware stores, Lowe’s and Home Depot don’t have the size. Also add some grease. No more bobble, I’m pleased

Bought for 2007 Jeep Wrangler 3.8. Quick shipping, excellent fit and finish. Looks just like a factory piece.

I used the Chrysler style puller to remove the old harmonic dampener without any trouble. But before doing that I attempted to fit the tool to this new replacement dampener to be sure I understood how it works. No dice! This dampener has a smaller space between the center hub and outer rim preventing the puller claws from getting into that gap! But otherwise it fits and works as expected.

Replaced during a 08′ Wrangler JKU Rubicon 3.8 front crankshaft seal replacement. The factory unit was in poor condition, with the rubber isolator ring failing in spots. To remove, use a quality three-arm puller ( see the little “cutouts” in the arms? Those are to pull it off. There is no keyway this crankshaft is tapered. It would be best if you had something to press it back on. I used a bolt and spacers from another puller I have. You could also use thread-all, I suppose, but you SHOULD NOT expect to use the bolt to pull it back on. High risk for breakage, and at first, the bolt isn’t long enough.

Perfect fit and installation into my 2007 Jeep Wrangler JK with 3.8l engine. Runs smooth, fixed a vibration I had from the old deteriorating balancer.
