These crush washers were exactly what I needed to prevent the leak at the drain plug and oil pan. I didn’t know that some cars are manufactured to utilize these. These are the best value I could find and they work perfectly when performing the oil change. Just make sure you check vehicle compatibility.

Not the right one for my particular year contrary to what Amazon indicated. The package actually says it was for a 2009.

The size is exactly correct for my 2015 Subaru Forester oil drain plug, but the washer does not crush so I have a very slight oil leak. Torque spec on my bolt is 32ft-lb, so I guess this washer needs more than that to crush properly? Guess I learned my lesson: OEM only from now on.
