Fits as expected. I have had the head on one of the five I have used shear off. Had to use an extractor to remove it. Might be an indicator of quality, however I continue to use them.

Bought this to replace the oil plug on my 2012 Chevy Sonic (1.4L). The OEM oil drain plug uses a 10mm hex that rounds off too easily (and yes, I was installing to the low torque spec during the oil changes).

I may well be excessive when it come to drain plugs. Having dealt with a rounded off drain plug years(decades ) ago I change them at the first sign of any rounding or other issues that may bite me in the future. That being said, these are dorman quality and in dorman box….AND most importantly they arrived when I needed them.
Getting excited over a drain plug I know is not the news of the day. But these will be here when I need them!

It only works once. The rubber seal will break after it is removed.

Great price on a properly made drain plug. I have not found a Dorman product yet that was not as good or better than the OEM part.
