Great to have a kit that includes ignition lock cylinder so that you’re not stuck with two keys like a nerd. Works smoothly, fits fine. No complaints.

The quality is decent for the price but you can’t go wrong with OEM

If you’ve had the unfortunate experience that’s becomming all too common these days of what I stated in the title. The door locks are pretty easy to replace and if you’ve had yours punched out, then you’ll likely need new door handles too because the tab in back of the locks is easily broken. The ignition is harder to replace, but it’s fairly straight forward and takes some time. Don’t force things or else you’ll break the tabs inside the steering column cover. However, if yours is already broken from the person who stole or tried to steal your 1st gen tacoma, then it won’t matter.
The price on these is really the stand out. Getting this set is much cheaper than buying one lock to replace the broken one, then having to take out the other locks anyways to get them rekeyed; which will cost more than just buying this set. I have to say it’s a small consolation, but at least parts are easy to come by.
