The driver and passenger door locks on 2015 4Runner quit working. Toyota dealership and other repair shops stated $750 per door. Instead, I bought these replacement actuators, reviewed a YouTube on how to replace them, and had perfectly functioning door locks again after about 90 minutes labor time. Do not waste your money going to dealerships or repair shops. It’s very easy to replace. I saved over $1400.

If you own a 4Runner, you know it’s the weak link. I have owned four 4Runners and replaced every door lock actuator, multiple times. The first time the dealer wanted $600 bucks. I went to a private garage that did it for $400 bucks. Since then, I learned to do it on my own. This was the best fitting, perfect alignment of all the brands I’ve installed. I’ve done 8 to 10 times. This was also the least expensive I’ve tried. I now have my go to brand, and it only took me 30 minutes this time. Wish I would have tried this sooner, would have saved a bunch of cash. This product works flawlessly and is priced right. Highly recommend.

This actuator is a perfect replacement for 5th Gen 4Runners! It was so easy to replace it. Took me a total of 20 minutes. The local dealership wanted almost $600 to replace this door lock actuator.

Easy to install in the fit is perfect. One concern is that while the car locks and locks the lights and horn do not flash after locking. This generally means that the car doesn’t know it’s locked so there might be some missing contact in the part that is causing this or a switch that is not functioning. Having said that The car is locking and locking perfectly and for the price it is a great value
